 Destination: Muskrat shelter
Starting Location: Plumorchard Gap Shelter
 Today's Miles: 7.30 Trip Miles: 63.02

Better miles today. Feeling better too. Hiked through a lot of snow.  Most of it was starting to melt so there was a lot slush, but in the shadows it was still frozen hard in a lot of places.

I crossed into North Carolina today, so it is good bye Georgia.  The strange looking tree was at Bly Gap, just a little after entering NC where the wind was blowing pretty strong.  The snow covered trail goes through a Rodie Forest.
