Packed it up today and walked to the edge of town to hitch to Hiawassee in search of medical attention. I have spotted blood in the gunk that I have been coughing up. I was picked up before too long and delivered to the Budget Inn in Hiawassee. Got a Subway sandwich for lunch then walked across the street to the ER. Got Rx for an antibiotic, cough syrup, and better OTC stuff.
